Terrain is drawn edge-to-edge as tiles — keep those seamless. Nodes, props, drops, foes and hazards take a single image, drawn where the vector art is now; cracks, glows, health pips and name tags stay on top. Scene holds the two whole-mine layers: a background under everything and a foreground the miners walk behind. The miner has its own tab, where a directional sprite sheet can be checked before it goes live. Anything you do not replace keeps the built-in drawing, and open mines pick changes up instantly.
Every sprite that moves can be an animated sheet — the explorer and all four foes, and any other slot you want to animate. Rows are facings, columns are the animation: four rows is fully directional and faces the way it walks, one row is a loop mirrored by which way it heads (a flapping bat). Pick a slot, drop a sheet, and every row walks here, live, before anything is uploaded — a wrong row order is visible as "walking up while facing down" on this page rather than on a projector mid-event. A single image still works: it is simply flipped by direction.

Each box is one ROW of your sheet, animating at the frame rate above. Tell the game which facing each row is — if row 1 is your miner walking down, leave it on down. The game reads the aim direction and picks the row.
Forty-eight slots is a lot of one-at-a-time uploads. Download everything
gives you a zip of what is live right now — one PNG per slot, named group__id, plus a
_manifest.json that lists every slot whether it is filled or not, so the zip is
both a backup and the brief. Repaint them in your art tool, keep the names, drop the folder or the
zip back here, and they all go live together in one version — not forty-eight reloads pushed
at every open mine.
